Exclusive: SELF-ACCLAIMED DANGOTE’S GIRLFRIEND IN PROPERTY MESS

A former beauty queen, Sylvia Nduka who is once rumoured to be a girlfriend of Nigerian industrialist and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote may be in a big mess over a property in Surulere Lagos

Sylvia, who won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria crown in 2011 might have questions to answer over a property right beside Gloworld, at 39, Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, where she has her beauty shop called Sylvia’s Hair Gallery.

All along, the ownership of the property which houses other businesses apart from Sylvia’s has been linked to her and it was believed to have been bought for her by Aliko Dangote due to the impression she has always created.

Meanwhile, words making the rounds of recent is that Sylvia herself is a tenant in the said property which she is said to have leased and sublet spaces to other tenants, thereby using proceeds from their rents to maintain the lease.

However, all but one tenant is now left with her, according to sources, owing to her high-handedness and she is currently finding it difficult to raise money to pay for the lease, which has put her under intense pressure, making her go into hiding.

No one was available at Sylvia’s Hair Gallery upon several visits to hear the former beauty queen’s side of the story, and according to someone in the vicinity, the building has been locked up for more than two weeks, as the time of publishing.

Sylvia who shot into lamplight after winning the MBGN crown in 2011, was in the news in 2015 when rumour was rife that she was in a sizzling romance with Aliko Dangote, who was said to have dumped her after she leaked the affair which sources claimed Dangote wanted to be a top secret but she failed.
