The Olorunsheyi foundation gifted over 350 students with educational aids for learning for the children’s day celebration. For this year’s celebration, serial entrepreneur Mr Sunday Olorunsheyi through his foundation in partnership with Rotary Club of Lagos Island celebrated Children’s Day with the students at Araromi Nursery and Primary School Ggagada area of Lagos state.
The staff and students of the Araromi Nursery and Primary school were astonished on the 26th of May 2021 when volunteers from the Olorunsheyi foundation and RCLI visited their school with different learning aids packed in bags.
The day was a very remarkable and memorable one for students in primary 4 to primary 6 as they had an amazing time with the volunteers who came to their school. Students were educated on how to become leaders of today and also future leaders.
Also, the Foundation in their bid to contribute to the educational welfare of these kids taught them some of the fundamental aspects of life and how to become good citizens of their country. Questions were asked and the kids were excited to answer. After this session, students were gifted branded bags, books, eraser, pencil, mathematical sets, and packs of indomie amongst other gifts.
However with this, Mr Sunday Olorunsheyi the founder of the olorunsheyi foundation wants to reiterate his willingness to tackle illiteracy and make education accessible to every child. The foundation in its bid to achieving its goals wants to constantly reduce some of the ills of the society, help alleviate poverty and improve the health care sector.
