Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has announced the recruitment of over 300 additional personnel in the cadres of health care professionals.
He also announced a review of health workers’ salary.
Prince Abiodun spoke in Abeokuta at the just-concluded Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Ogun State branch.
The event tagged: ‘Preparedness of 21st Century Doctors in the Management of Pandemics in Nigeria’, with focus on Ogun State, brought together health workers from across the state.
The governor, represented by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, said: “Since the assumption of office in the last two years, we have remained committed to developmental programmes that will further improve the wellness, welfare and well-being of the citizens.”
