The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) has presented a N2.5billion grant to the Sokoto State Government for the construction of the College of Medical Sciences at the Sokoto State University, infrastructure at the School of Nursing, Tambuwal as well as the School of Health Technology, Gwadabawa.
This grant, according to a statement by the Group, was presented on Wednesday at the Sokoto State Government House.
Receiving the proposed designs for the projects from Governor Aminu Tambuwal, founder of BUA Group and ASR Africa Abdul Samad Rabiu, said the initiative would complement the work being done by the state government in healthcare delivery at the primary and secondary levels.
