The remains of the MOTHER of Pharm Ahmed Ibrahim Yakasai, mni, FPSN, Former President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Consul-General of Pakistan in Nigeria and Founder/CEO Pharmaplus Nigeria Limited Hajiya Asma’u Yakasai were laid to rest this afternoon, 4th October 2022 at Kano Farm Centre graveyard.

Amidst wailing by family members and well wishers at the funeral prayers held at the premises of Kano Emirate Palace, hundreds of sympathisers including the Emir Alh Aminu Ado Bayero, other high ranking traditional chiefs were in attendance.
Also, at the funeral, obsequies were retired and serving top public servants, ulamas, friends, close associates and a cross section of the business community.

Hajiya Asma’u Yakasai died at the age of 98 on Tuesday afternoon at her residence abode after a protracted illness and she is survived by five children, grandchildren and many relatives.
Among her surviving children are Alh. Sani Ibrahim, Alh. Kabiru Ibrahim, Alh. Mustapha Ibrahim, Alh. Ahmed Ibrahim and Hajiya Binta Ibrahim.

Meanwhile, people from all walks of life shortly after burial started trooping to the family residence of the deceased at Babbar Kofar-Gyanawa, Yakasai Qtrs, near Jalli Mosque, Kano Municipality to express their condolences to the bereaved families.
May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul-Firdaus, amin.
